Sunshine Yellow Ball Lamp

Description

I’ve made a sunshine yellow glass even sunnier with this lamp. It’s such a pure, happy colour.

The yellow, like the textured clear pieces, are all transparent and equally sparkle.

There are 118 clear pieces of clear textured glass and 22 of the sunshine yellow and each piece of glass goes through being cut, the sharp edges ground off, washed, dried and wrapped by hand in copper tape. Piece by piece, copper edge to copper edge, the lamp is soldered together. With strengthening beads of solder inside and out and one final wash, the lamp then sparkles with LED lights.

This lamp measures 12cm in diameter.

This magic ball of light also sits on a wood base.
