Description
Just simply doing things a little different, this stained glass flower has been made from a striking transparent red, textured glass for the leaves and an opaque, streaky green for the petals.
I draw each flower pattern, often just freehand, I hand cut the glass and grind the edges to remove the sharp and to leave a surface that will hold the copper foil tape. Each petal is soldered to the next, at a slightly raised angle, together with the leaves, making it a little more 3D and alive.
This reversed flower would be happy against a wall or in a window.
It measures 16cm in diameter and is suitable for indoors only.
