Description
This streaky blue glass is beautiful. Each sheet is unpredictable in it’s patterning so no two could ever be the same.
It’s made with a semi transparent navy blue glass with white streaks running through it.
Measuring 18.5cm at it’s widest point by 16cm in height, it comes ready to hang and is finished in silver.
This ammonite would be ideal in a window to show off the depth of colour in the glass or against a coloured wall to highlight the streaks.

Each piece of glass is individually cut by hand following the design. A glass grinder is then used to remove all the sharp edges and provide a rough surface for the copper foil tape. The tape is hand wrapped around each piece and burnished to secure it. When two copper foiled pieces of glass are lined up, they can then be soldered together with an additional bead of solder along every seam to add strength and to give a better finish to the overall piece. Every item is then carefully washed and dried, with some being finished with either a copper or black patina. Painted details are added last.
