Description
This hearts stained glass flower is made from an intense smooth purple transparent glass for the outer layer and a perfectly smooth pure white opaque glass for the inner layer of petals. The flower is set against transparent green leaves with a ladybird that is just about hanging on to the middle!
I draw each flower, repeating the petal shape for this one, hand cut the glass, grind the edges to remove the sharp and to leave a surface that will hold the copper foil tape. Each petal is soldered to the next at an angle, together with the leaves, making it a little more 3D.
This purple spinner would be the most striking against a wall.
It measures 16cm in diameter and is suitable for indoors only.
