Payment for your items

I accept payment by Paypal. It’s simple to set up a Paypal account or you can follow their instructions to make a one-off credit or debit card payment. I also accept payment by postal order or personal cheque (payment will need to clear before items ordered are sent)

Postage

Postage charges include packaging costs. I pack every order as carefully as possible. I post items within 3 days of having received your cleared payment, but usually I can post sooner. I also recycle card for packaging.

Please purchase in good time for specific deadlines such as birthdays or Christmas. Delivery times are dependant on Royal Mail. In some circumstances a courier may be used but will be agreed with you in advance.

Items are sent by Royal Mail First Class. Standard insurance covers the value of item/s up to £46.

Postage is currently set up as follows for the UK : Orders up to £10 = £3.00, orders up to £25 = £5.00, orders above £20 = Free 

Postage overseas: is currently set up as follows: Orders up to £10 = £6, orders up to £20 = £9, orders above £20 = £15

PLEASE NOTE: postage costs are worked out approximately at the moment due to the recent Royal Mail prices changes. Excessive postage charges will be refunded. Most items will also be sent second class to save on postage costs. Please include a message if you would prefer 1st class.

Refunds and Exchanges

If you have changed your mind and wish to return an item/s please contact me within 7 working days of receipt & return the item/s as soon as possible, unused & with original packaging where possible. Upon receipt of the item/s I will issue a refund for the product cost and less any postage costs. Any unpaid or insufficient returning postage will be charged to you and will need to be paid within 30 days. Sufficient care must be taken to ensure the safe delivery of all items.

Should the item be faulty / broken please contact me within 48 hours of receipt & return the item/s within 14 days. I will always endeavor to repair or replace the item for you but sometimes this just isn't possible. I will let you know as soon as possible. Refunds where necessary will be given upon receipt of the item.

Should for any reason the exact item you have ordered is not available ( I keep my website as up to date as possible) I will email you regarding an alternative, making the item for you or a full refund. Should alternative items sent to you not be suitable then returning postage will be refunded.

Personal Information

I do not hold personal details and do not pass them on to third parties.

Custom requests

I accept requests for custom items. Personalised items will require payment in full prior to work starting. Non-personlised items will require payment upon completion of the item but prior to posting. Cancellation of personalised items (for example, something I can not readily sell to someone else) is no longer available once payment has been made.

Larger work

Commissions for leaded lights, repairs or restoration will require a 50% deposit prior to work commencing. The balance (cleared payment) is due upon completion of the work by me, not the completion of the installation (if required) by a third party, within 28 days.

Cancellation rights end when the deposit has been paid.

I will also accept smaller items by post for repairs. Please email me with full details and pictures before sending the item.

Please Note:

Items are made with glass, lead, lead based solder and sometimes other small parts. These are not toys and are not suitable for children. Please also be careful with candles that are required / used with some items.
